I created this quick painting in one of those sparks of creative energy and inspiration and wanted to share.
Have you ever felt the urge to paint or create something without a clear idea of what? It can be exciting and intimidating, but if you trust your inner creative energy and go with it, the intimidation can fade quickly. Acknowledging your creative need and moment of inspiration is the first step, then allowing yourself to be open to the possibilities permits continuing to put paint on the canvas! Not all inspiration comes with a clear path.
It’s important to remember that not every creative endeavor needs to be planned out or understood ahead of time.
Sometimes the best art comes from simply letting go and allowing yourself to create with only the energy that comes with being inspired. Don’t be afraid to take risks and try something new. When you follow your instincts and create art without restraint, you’re honoring your inner authentic creative needs and allowing them to flourish naturally. Creating art this way can lead to some beautiful and unique pieces of artwork.
So don’t allow creative bursts of energy to go to waste – use it to fuel your next quick painting!
When you’re in the zone and painting from a place of pure energy, you’re tapping into something truly unique. Trust yourself and let the energy flow.
Before getting started, have all the necessary art materials ready and make them easily accessible.
Know where your paints, brushes, canvas, and any other supplies you might need are, and visualize getting everything you need ready very quickly so you can get to painting. The worst is when you realize you’ve used all your creative energy searching for materials and getting ready. This time can sometimes be when intimidation comes back, your art materials are all there, but your creative energy and inspiration to paint have faded.
By preparing your materials before you start creating (like having everything in its place, like a well-organized garage), you’ll be able to focus on your artwork without interruptions or distractions. It can help you stay in the zone and stay focused on creating.
When you desire to create or paint, honor that feeling and give yourself the time and space to do so.
Remember that not every piece of artwork needs to be meticulously planned out or perfect. Sometimes the most beautiful pieces come from moments of spontaneity and creativity.
Enjoy the process and allow yourself the freedom to express yourself creatively.
Creating art from a place of pure inspiration and authenticity can lead to some truly inspiring pieces of artwork. By trusting your inner feeling, harnessing bursts of creative energy, and allowing yourself the freedom to create without restraint, you’re leaning into your true potential and allowing yourself to create something that truly speaks to you. Don’t be afraid to take risks and try something new. When you’re painting from a place of pure creativity, the possibilities are infinite. So go – honor your need to be creative and see where it takes you.
