I’m so excited to be putting the last hours and final touches on this chalk drawing of birds in flight!
Last fall Birdie and I took a vacation to Portland, Maine where I found inspiration for creating this piece. I try and carry my 35mm Nikon camera with me, esspecially on vacation, so this project started with several quick shots on my 35mm of some birds while visiting a historic lighthouse. The photographs quickly became my references for this 26″ x 40″ drawing.
